A morphological analysis was carried out to reveal specific cell markers for identification and assessment of the state of neurons and neuroglia in cultures. Cultivation of Lactobacillus rhamnosus and Lactococus lactis strains was optimized in order to develop the products of their metabolism under standardized conditions for further use in experiments. Expression of interleukin 1β (IL-1β), marker of glutamatergic synapses PSD-95 and brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), involved in the processes of inflammation and synaptic plasticity, was estimated in middle-aged mice hippocampus under conditions of systemic metabolic disorders (mouse line ApoE-/ -) and various dietary influences. It was investigated the localization and integration of GFP/DAB-positive oligodendrocytes, generated from human neuroepithelial stem cells and grafted into the somatosensory cortex of the rat brain after ischemic injury simulation. Technique to study spatial distribution of cells has been developed. The technique is implemented in a software written in Object Pascal. It is used in the context of cluster analysis, when the criterion for belonging to a spatial cluster is the threshold value of the edge length of the Delaunay graph.
