Registration Date 06-02-2024 Organization S.P. Tymoshenka Institute of Mechanics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2  On the basis of the refined straight line model and the phenomenological theory of nonlinear elasticity of polymer orthotropic composite materials, an improved technique for calculating the nonlinear elastic state of shells made of composites of arbitrary shear stiffness, including the limiting case of the Kirchhoff-Love hypotheses, has been developed. The effect of nonlinear properties, shear stiffness, geometric and physical-mechanical parameters of the composite material on the stress-strain state of spherical, conical and cylindrical members of rockets with holes was numerically investigated. A number of both evident and new mechanical effects regarding the orientation of the axes of orthotropy in the shell and the mutual influence of nonlinearity and transverse shear on the stress state of rocketry members have been detected.
