Shevchenko as a monument of garden and park art by the decision of the regional executive committee of the Lviv Regional Council of People's Deputies dated October 2, 1970 No. 634 "On the state and measures to protect natural monuments in the region", aerial photographs and topographic tablets made on the basis of them in 1976 78 and their superimposition on the current area based on geodetic surveys of 2022, it was found that the area and contours of the Park have not changed since its announcement as an object of the park-monument of garden and park art of local importance in 1970 and constitute now 16.1407 ha (the contour of the Park is 2848.31 m).
