The purpose of the work is the scientific substantiation of the methodological principles of assessing the impact of climate change on the health of the population, related to atmospheric air pollution. Research methods: bibliographic method of scientific information analysis; physical and chemical methods; statistical methods of data processing (StatSoft STATISTICA 10.0 rotable, Microsoft® Excel 2019). Results and their novelty. Long-term field studies of the levels of concentrations of О3, РМ10, РМ2.5 in atmospheric air were carried out. Uncharacteristically high levels of atmospheric air pollution with solid particles of dust (PM10, PM2.5) and O3 were detected, which were primarily due to the conduct of active hostilities and their consequences (fires, rocket attacks), intensifying in the spring-summer period of the NMU. The nature of the variability of air pollution levels (O3, PM10, PM2.5) depending on meteorological indicators (using Spearman's rank correlation coefficient) was established. An assessment of the public health risk caused by long-term and short-term exposure to PM10 and PM2.5 atmospheric air pollution and ozone was carried out using the AirQ+ software complex. The choice of adaptation measures for the population due to climate change and its mitigation in the conditions of military aggression of the Russian Federation is substantiated.
