The study involved an analysis of scientific and psychological literature, allowing for the characterization of the concepts of "communicative competence" and "collaborative learning technology." The main approaches to solving the problem of developing communicative competence at both theoretical and practical levels were presented. The work theoretically justified the psycho-pedagogical conditions for the formation of communicative competence in higher education students through collaborative learning technologies. Among these conditions, the implementation of psycho-pedagogical support, the application of an activity-based approach combined with interactive and innovative teaching methods, the modeling of a modern educational scenario for communicative competence formation, and the implementation of collaboration technology considering the initial communicative adaptation of students were indicated. Methodical recommendations were developed, aimed at forming communicative competence in higher education students through collaborative learning technologies. It was noted that these recommendations contribute to involving students in active, professionally oriented forms of work, utilizing cooperative and interactive learning, and emphasizing the development of communicative competencies through discourse and motivational materials.
