The object of research is mathematical models of industrial equipment. The paper analyzed possible representations of mathematical models of industrial objects, reviewed methods of practical identification, selected a method of practical identification of vibration and thermal processes of objects, analyzed mathematical models of laboratory equipment from the angle of optimization. The obtained results made it possible to competently approach the identification of the working area of the pass-through technological unit using the example of an extruder that carries out the technological process of processing agricultural raw materials by separating product fractions. Approaches to building a virtual device were demonstrated and implemented, simulation modeling was carried out for blocks of primary and secondary statistical transformations. The task of creating a situational system with fuzzy logic to improve the efficiency and quality of management of coffee grain grinding systems has been solved. The best ratio between the number of revolutions of the motor shaft, the grinding time, and the moisture content of the coffee grain has been determined to obtain the highest uniformity of grinding. Conclusions were made regarding the analysis of electromagnetic fields and approximation of their distribution for non-destructive testing of cylindrical objects. Conducted research and development to improve the methodology, solve problems of the inverse problem, and study additional approaches to increase the accuracy and sensitivity of primary transducers.
