It was concluded that the degree of novelty and channels of information about the project should be added to the existing features. The typology and content of the factors influencing the development of crowdfunding were developed, and it was proposed to distinguish them into two main groups: general and special. The process of formation and development trends of crowdfunding activities in such countries as the United States of America, Great Britain, France, the Netherlands, Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland and Romania have been studied. The state of development of crowdfunding in Ukraine, key domestic crowdfunding platforms and indicators of their activity are analyzed. The main and modified models of the dependence of the number of crowdfunding platforms, the amount of funds accumulated with the help of crowdfunding and the amount of financial resources obtained thanks to one crowdfunding platform on the time factor have been developed. The proposed model describes six main stages of project implementation: preparatory stage, placement of a crowdfunding project on a crowdfunding platform, acceptance of a crowdfunding project by a crowdfunding platform, launch of a crowdfunding campaign, implementation of a crowdfunding project or its closure, and modification of an existing project for its subsequent placement on another crowdfunding platform. It was found that the main number of functions and responsibilities are performed by project authors, recipients and mediators of the crowdfunding platform.
