The influence of return waters on the hydrobiological parameters of the Dnipro was revealed. Correlation coefficients between water quality indicators and spectral indices of the type Rʎ2/Rʎ1 were determined for all combinations of wavelengths ʎ1 and ʎ2 in the selected range. Wavelengths were found for which these indices reliably correlate with water quality indicators. In particular, R650/R675 and total mineralization (r=0.92), R550/R580+ R745/R675 and the content of chlorophyll a (r=0.8), R550/R800 and the content of suspended solids (r=0.63), R695 /R675 and pH (r=0.63). The introduction of the term "average annual level of pollution" for stations was justified. It was found that on the Siverskyi Donets the level of "blooming" was significantly lower in 2022-2023 compared to 2019 and 2021. The relationships between pollution parameters and water "blooming" were analyzed. The content of biogenic ions (ammonium, phosphate, nitrate) was lower in water with a higher level of "bloom". A spectro-temporal convolutional neural network was trained on the time series of data from April to September separately in 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2023 with cross-validation by selected groups. The validation error was within 10% for the parameters "BOD-5" (biological oxygen demand), "phosphate", "oxygen", "sulfate" in the Dnipro-2 group, and for the parameters "BOD-5", "ammonium" and "suspended substances" in the "Siverskyi Donets" group. Maps of water pollution on the Dnipro and Siverskyi Donets rivers for 2021-2023 were constructed and converted into curves of dependence of pollution on the distance downstream. Differences between years were revealed, with boundaries coinciding with reservoirs. In Kakhovsky res. in 2022-2023, an increase in the level of "BSK-5" and "phosphate" parameters was shown, but a decrease in “blooming” in 2023. Product Description popup.authors Zolotarova Olena K.
