New precocious genotypes of rabbits have appeared, which are kept in metal cages made of galvanized mesh in closed rooms with a regulated microclimate. In addition, literature data indicate that the impact of housing technology and biotechnological measures on the reproductive capacity of males and females has not yet been sufficiently studied for rabbits. All these circumstances indicate that there is an urgent need to clarify the effect of paratypic factors on the reproductive qualities of male and female rabbits under caged confinement in a closed room, as well as retro-technological confinement in order to improve some elements of their reproduction. The purpose of the work is to investigate the influence of paratypic factors on the reproductive capacity of rabbits and the effectiveness of existing biotechnological methods of increasing the reproductive capacity of rabbits under different conditions of keeping.
