It is used in fertilization systems in all soil and climatic zones of Ukraine in the main application and for foliar foliar feeding. In the soil, the amide form is transformed into ammonium, and later into nitrate. This process is slow, so nitrogen is evenly absorbed by plants during the growing season, it does not accumulate excessively in the plant and in groundwater. Nitrogen is little leached from the soil, its losses are minimal. The higher the soil temperature, the better and faster nitrogen is absorbed from urea. On soils that are very acidic or freshly calcareous, this effect is less. The effectiveness of this fertilizer is also less effective on waterlogged, cold soils.
