General information on emergency power supply is considered: the classification of power supply restrictions is given; force majeure circumstances, the probability of their occurrence and conditions for ensuring the reliability of energy supply. The current receivers that require armour are specified. Lists of technological, emergency, ecological armour of power supply and emergency (reserve and evacuation) lighting are provided. The list of electrical receivers is developed and a justification for belonging to the emergency, technological and environmental armour of coke oven and by-product production facilities is provided.
