The purpose of the work is to obtain and research compounds of transition metals with various functional properties and to propose catalysts, antioxidant additives for alternative fuels, photovoltaic solar energy converters and biocidal preparations for the treatment of wound injuries of various genesis in field conditions. Research methods – elemental analysis, electronic, IR, EPR, NMR spectroscopy, X-ray structural and thermogravimetric analyses. Synthesis methods have been developed, according to which complexes of transition metals with Schiff bases involving furfural, 5-bromofurfural, o-vanillin, 2-pyridinecarbaldehyde and hybrid organoinorganic compounds were obtained and identified. As a result of the study of synthesized compounds, their main crystal-chemical characteristics, characteristics of physico-chemical properties were obtained. The functional properties of the synthesized compounds were investigated and their suitability for the development of catalysts for the oxidation of inert aliphatic C–H bonds in mild conditions or the breaking of oxidation chains, additives for biofuels, mineral motor oils and oils from bio-raw materials, antiseptic preparations was shown.  Product Description popup.authors Buvailo Olena A.
