The object of research is the process of ensuring the thermodynamic potentials of the drying agent flows in the grain flow in the shaft dryer. The purpose of the work is to reduce energy consumption by 6% in the process of drying agricultural grain in shaft grain dryers by reducing emissions of thermal energy with a spent drying agent. Research methods and equipment – methods of modeling the technological process of grain drying; equipment for monitoring the moisture content and temperature of grain, drying agent; measuring, calculating, displaying and storing process data. A block diagram has been developed and a mock-up sample of a set of equipment for automatic control of the temperature and relative humidity of the spent drying agent, the temperature of the fresh drying agent and the temperature of the grain has been manufactured. Experimental studies were carried out and the heat and moisture indicators of the spent drying agent at different stages of grain drying were determined at the operating shaft grain dryer. The energy-saving process of drying grain of agricultural crops is substantiated. A structural and functional diagram of a technical device for automatic control of the grain drying process in a shaft dryer has been developed. The dependence of the relative humidity of the initial drying agent on the temperature of the input drying agent and the moisture content of the grain in the drying chamber is determined. The terms of reference were developed, an experimental sample was made and factory studies of the functioning of a technical device for automatic control of the energy-saving process of grain drying in a shaft dryer were carried out.
