At least one of these antigens was detected on no less than 1% of cells in subpopulation of CD45-positive malignant lymphocytes in 20–33.3% of the mantle cell lymphoma cases and 27.2–54.5% of the marginal zone lymphoma cases. One case of mantle cell lymphoma demonstrated a high percentage of CD117-positive cells with the accompanying CD90 expression on 3.8% of malignant lymphocytes. Cells of various mature B-cell neoplasms including continuous lymphoma cell lines express ubiquitously CD147 except for plasma cell neoplasm. CD150 has been suggested as immunophenotypic marker of marginal zone lymphoma cells with its expression correlating with CD19, CD20, and CD79b expression. The CD150 expression is a characteristic feature of plasma cells in the bone marrow of multiple myeloma patients accounting for 42.6–69.8% of cells in the CD45–CD38+CD138+ subpopulation. In all studied cases of multiple myeloma, CD150 is coexpressed both with CD38 and CD138. Therefore, CD150 may be considered as an auxiliary marker for immunological phenotyping of malignant cells aimed at the improvement of the laboratory diagnosis of the mature B-cell lymphoid neoplasms accounting for the criteria of the new WHO classification (2022).
