The object of the study is information and library provision of the sphere of agricultural production of Ukraine in the context of the implementation of innovative tools of the economy. The purpose of the work is to ensure the improvement of the efficiency of the use of library technologies and the quality of the provision of information and library services, including the network of agricultural libraries, based on the implementation of IT technologies. In the process of research, the role of libraries in the information provision of research is defined, including thanks to the translation into digital format of the results of scientific searches made by previous generations in the times of non-digital technologies. In the context of European integration processes, one of the key directions is to increase the competitiveness of the state's economy, for which innovative tools are used, among which is smart specialization, one of the steps for the implementation of which is the determination of priority directions that can contribute to the economic growth of the territory. Among the key moments of the implementation of the specified direction of development of the regional economy is the conduct of scientific research and the implementation of their results. One of the factors of ensuring the effectiveness of scientific research is the application of blockchain technology in the system of information and library support. The research materials are reflected in the brochure, in 5 reports at conferences, implemented in the educational process of the history of science and technology course and scientific studies.
