The subject of the research is the process of formation of psychological and pedagogical competencies of future specialists in higher education institutions of Ukraine.The expected result is the publication of monographs and scientific articles, theses of reports on the issues investigated in the course of the department's scientific topic, the development of innovative educational methodological support and its implementation in the educational process, the provision of methodological recommendations to scientific and pedagogical workers on research and the formation of psychological and pedagogical competencies in ZVO.Scientific novelty of the obtained results: for the first time:  the content and structure of psychological-pedagogical competences of an individual are determined, their place in the general structure of professional competences of specialists is shown, the state of formation of psychological-pedagogical competences in the content of professional training of students is investigated (on the example of training of future specialists in economic specialties);tasks are outlined and models for the development of psychological-pedagogical competencies at different levels of higher education are substantiated (on the example of professional-pedagogical training);the content was clarified and the state of formation of certain types of psychological and pedagogical competences of higher education students .
