In the world, scientists have developed standards for feeding rabbits, approved by the VIII International Congress on Rabbit Breeding (2004). In these recommendations, the rabbit's need for amino acids is calculated based on their total amount in the feed. However, a more effective method - evaluation of feed and rationing of the need for digestible (available) amino acids - is translated from English as "true mucosal digestibility". Such rationing is widely used in feeding other types of animals, for example, in pig farming, which makes it possible to reduce the cost of compound feed by reducing the total level of crude protein by 1-2% without significantly reducing the productivity of animals. However, in rabbit breeding, this issue has not been studied enough, and in Ukraine, in order to introduce it into production, it generally requires additional research. The purpose of the work is to determine the productive effect of a complete ration compound feed, balanced according to international standards for individual available amino acids, on the growth, development and reproductive qualities of rabbits.
