Registration Date 14-02-2024 Organization State Scientific Institution Scientific and Technological Complex" Institute of Single Crystals "of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2  The object of the study is the substance of the antibiotic chloramphenicol, which is widely used in the treatment of humans and animals, which leads to its release into the aquatic environment of our country. The main research methods used are infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy, liquid chromatography, gas chromatography with mass detection. The aim of the study is to obtain TiOF2/(MeO, MeS) nanoparticles with high photocatalytic activity against model pollutants to form low-toxic photoproducts capable of biodegradation. The photocatalytic properties of TiOF2 nanoparticles modified with transition metal oxides were confirmed for chloramine necrole. The used method of synthesis of TiOF2/MeO from inorganic precursors leads to the formation of highly agglomerated structures, and the doping by co-precipitation and deposition methods does not allow for controlled introduction of dopants. The content of the identified decomposition products is only 30% of the total amount of decomposed chloramphenicol, which indicates a possible effect of photocatalytic mineralization of chloramphenicol, the confirmation of which requires further research.
