An algorithm and a method for solving initial-boundary problems of physically nonlinear deformation and damage of flexible hollow shells of complex shape made of materials with deformation characteristics that depend on the type of load have been created. Algorithms for solving problems for spatial bodies, plates and shells made of materials with shape memory and a variant of the method of component splitting based on spline approximations have been developed. The use of developed algorithms in calculation methods allows for a more detailed investigation of the condition of structural elements, to evaluate the structure of the material under working and extreme loads, to reduce their material capacity and to predict resource under different operating modes.
