The purpose of the work: Development of the scientific foundations of modern technologies of complex research of the material composition of ores (strategic and critical mineral raw materials) of the most important existing and prospective deposits of the Ush, which could ensure the determination of the stages, stages and conditions of their formation with the identification of relevant relationships, the correct assessment of quality, operational support and direct adjustment of production and processing to maintain the appropriate quality level and liquidity of final commodity products. Research methods: mineralogical analysis with the selection of monomineral fractions; petrographic studies; X-ray fluorescence analysis for major and rare elements; a specialized variant of quantitative energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence analysis of single micrograins of through-going accessory minerals (zircon, monazite) for indicator elements-impurities; mathematical processing and interpretation of the results of analytical studies. Reference collections of representative samples, complex mineralogical and geochemical samples for the leading traditional and promising types of ores, host and genetically related rocks have been formed. The laboratory-analytical complex of equipment, analytical methods and software tools has been improved. The results of the research of the reference collections are combined into banks of mineralogical and geochemical data. The research technology of strategic and critical mineral raw materials was created and tested to ensure an objective assessment of its quality.
