The purpose of the work is to develop a scientific report in which the analysis of scientific research, criminal-legal and socio-psychological aspects of the problem, expert practice, normative legal acts of Ukraine regarding the expert examination of victims of domestic violence was carried out, methodological recommendations were created for the psychological examination of victims in criminal cases , related to domestic violence. Research methods are general scientific (dialectical, comparative analysis, systematization and generalization, description, statistical methods); separate psychological methods (directed observation, expert interview, hermeneutic method, experimental psychological diagnosis); special methods (methodologies) of forensic psychological examination.
