The purpose of the work: to carry out a comprehensive analysis of certain aspects of text categories, artistic, scientific-linguistic, media texts based on an interdisciplinary approach; to develop scientific and methodological support for working with the text in the educational process. Research methods: analysis, synthesis, comparison, generalization; descriptive, hermeneutic method, analysis of dictionary definitions. Main scientific results: for the first time, a comprehensive analysis of text categories is carried out based on an interdisciplinary approach; the specificity of text-discursive categories in anthropocentric and educational paradigms is specified; the specifics of the text of the first editions of the works of Panteleimon Kulish as a source for the study of the Eastern Polish dialect, the text of Ivan Franko’s scientific and popular science works in the aspect of semantic-syntactic relations of admissibility are analyzed; a complex analysis of the structural-morphological, semantic and functional features of complex words in Lina Kostenko’s poetic texts is carried out; theoretical studies of media and Internet texts as a reflection of modern linguistic reality are summarized; scientific approaches and methods of formation of reading literacy of NUS students are outlined on the basis of the PISA-2018 international study; the issue of the teacher’s media culture within the linguistic and methodological course is outlined. The essence of the concepts “text”, text-discursive categories has been specified. Scientific and methodological support for work with artistic (first print/handwritten, poetic, linguistic) text has been developed.
