The purpose of the work is to apply modern mathematical models of the marine environment for the possibility of forming short-term forecasts of spatio-temporal variability of sea surface temperature, salinity, sea level, and surface condition for the purpose of navigational and hydrographic support for seafaring; as well as for their use in assessing the impact of methane jet streams, in particular methane seeps at anoxic depths and mud volcanoes, on the acidity (pH) of seawater in the northwestern part of the Black Sea. The research method is a theoretical and analytical study of modern mathematical models of the marine environment for the possibility of forming short-term forecasts of the spatial-temporal variability of the hydrophysical parameters of the sea. The scientific novelty of the obtained results is as follows. The prognostic complex of integrated Delft3D-FLOW+SWAN numerical models was adapted for surface wave field calculations and obtaining realistic estimates of wave parameters in the northwestern part of the Black Sea by implementing a hydrodynamic modeling program - the D-Flow Flexible Mesh model (D-Flow FM+D-Waves ).
