The purpose of the work is to create new electroactive materials for the development of hybrid capacitors. A method of mechanochemical solid-phase synthesis of nickel hydroxide compounds for use in supercapacitors has been developed thanks to the study of physicochemical transformations during the mechanochemical synthesis of electroactive nickel hydroxide compounds. The method includes a preparatory stage - mechanical processing of synthesis precursors and the main stage, which can be implemented in two variants: anhydrous mechanochemical or crystal hydrate mechanochemical. A method of template synthesis of nickel hydroxide compounds for use in supercapacitors was developed, where the high molecular weight water-soluble substance Culminal C8465 was used as a template. Synthesis includes hot or cold options. A method of microwave post-treatment of nickel hydroxide compounds to increase electrochemical activity has been developed. The significance of the effect of microwave post-treatment of wet nickel hydroxide compounds on the layer thickness, specific surface and specific capacity of the samples is shown.
