M.V.Zubets of National Academy of Agrarian Science of Ukraine popup.description2  The genealogical structure of Ayrshire cattle in Ukraine was determined, the technology of milk production from Ayrshire cows was analyzed and adjusted at the State Enterprise "EF nd. after Decabristiv of the Institute of Food Resources of the National Academy of Sciences", the factors that affect the live weight of young Ayrshire cattle in the process of their breeding were identified, the influence was determined year of birth of cows, age in lactation, technology of keeping calves, lineal belonging of cows for the manifestation of economically useful traits, the peculiarities of the growth of daughter offspring of various bulls of the Ayrshire breed, as well as Montbeliard and Norwegian Red bulls, a comparative analysis of the reproductive capacity and milk productivity of purebred and of crossbred cows, the adjusted system for evaluating cattle of this breed based on a set of traits, the evaluation of cows by exterior, the live weight of heifers and milk productivity of cows was determined depending on the methods of selection of parent pairs. Based on the results of the research, recommendations were developed to increase the productivity of Ayrshire cattle and their use in industrial milk production technology.
