The main physico-chemical parameters for the optimization of the processes of decolorization and detoxification of dyes, such as pH, initial concentrations of dyes and mediators, were studied, and the kinetic parameters of enzymatic processes were determined, such as the Michaelis-Menten constants and the maximum speeds of the processes. The long-term stability of T. versicolor laccase in the presence of dyes, mediators, and copper salts was also evaluated, and the factors affecting enzyme inactivation were determined. On the basis of the conducted research, new "green" protocols for the decolorization of synthetic dyes using laccase-mediator systems were proposed. The results obtained during the implementation of the joint Ukrainian-Austrian project can serve as a basis for the creation of innovative bioremediation protocols.
