Research method - to achieve the goal, a complex of methods, such as physiological, zootechnical, statistical, analytical, microscopic, was used. According to the results of the NDR, the physiological features of the formation of PAH in breeder boars were determined depending on the effect of heat stress and the modes of their use; a positive effect of the biologically active additive "Gumilid" on the qualitative and quantitative parameters of the sperm of breeding boars was revealed. For the first time, scientific data were obtained on the influence of Midi feeding in the form of Midi citrate, both separately and in combination with the homogenate of drone larvae, on the state of pro-oxidant-antioxidant homeostasis and its relationship with the quality of sperm production, in particular with the structure and morphometric parameters of spermatozoa, which significantly expands theoretical knowledge regarding the effect of essential microelements on the formation of biological integrity of gametes. Knowledge of the specifics of the effect of pro-oxidant-antioxidant homeostasis on sperm viability during storage of sperm doses with the addition of copper in the form of copper citrate has been deepened. The effect of homogenate of drone larvae on the prooxidant-antioxidant homeostasis of sows and qualitative and quantitative indicators of the reproductive function of sows was studied. It was found that additional feeding of GTL to breeding boars significantly affects the quality and quantity of sperm: ejaculate weight increases by 10%, sperm concentration - 16.1%, sperm count in ejaculate - 33.5%, sperm motility - 10.6% and their survival rate is 14.7%.
