It has been established that stable average live weight indicators are observed both in rams and yearling rams originating from line #224. In adult animals, it is possible to distinguish animals of line 227, which are characterized by high live weight. Normal stability at the level of average values was confirmed by sheep originating from lines 1444 and 375. Instead, animals of line 369 were mostly characterized by low and average values for this characteristic. According to the level of wool productivity, sheep of different sex-age groups have average and high values for this characteristic from different combinations of origins by lines. Stable average indicators of pure wool shearing are observed in animals of lines 227 and 1444. On the other hand, in yearling rams and yaks of line 0058, lower than average indicators are observed, although in other sex-age groups of animals of this line, the average values of wool productivity are observed. The study of different selection options shows that the animals of line 0517, which had an advantage in terms of a set of traits, were the best in intraline selection. With interlineal selection, the ♂224×♀0058 cross is characterized by the best combination of performance indicators. A better development of wool qualities is observed in the ♂1577×♀224 cross. In terms of growth intensity, attention should be paid to animals of line 0517 and interlineal crosses ♂0058×♀224 and ♂1577×♀227. In the Askanian thin-fleece sheep breed, the following effective interlineal crosses were found in the assessment of specific combining ability, which improved the productive indicators of live weight and qualitative indicators of wool: 224×369, 375×1444, 0517×0058 375×0517.
