As an object of analysis, generalizations and research activity is the processes of innovation and investment support for regional structural transformations of entrepreneurship in the agricultural sector, food industry, tourism and recreation, logistics and infrastructure. The methodological basis of scientific research is the laws of dialectical knowledge, the fundamental provisions of economic theory, which made it possible to systematically investigate the conditions and features of the formation and functioning of regional mechanisms for the activation of innovation and investment processes in agriculture, industry and tourism. The substantiation of theoretical and methodological basics and applied results regarding innovation and investment support for structural transformations and development of the region was carried out on the principles of a systemic approach, using general scientific and special methods of researching economic processes: the method of comparative analysis was applied for intersectoral and interregional comparison of quantitative and qualitative indicators of social economic development of the region; statistical methods were used to collect, systematize and analytically process statistical data, determine the dynamics of the development of the region; graphic methods – for visual presentation of the obtained results; synergistic method – to characterize the influence of economic mechanisms of investment activity on the development of the region; economic and mathematical methods – for modeling the development of innovation and investment processes in the region.
