Aim of research: Study of electronic processes in viruses, interaction of viruses with the membrane, effects of antiviral compounds, irradiation of viruses. Methods of research: measurement of absorption, fluorescence and phosphorescence spectra of viruses, and measurement of membrane potential. The effect of proven antiviral compounds on the spectral properties of viruses in the presence of membrane structures was investigated. While the presence of membrane structures affects the emission spectra of the virus, the addition of antiviral drugs reduces this effect, which may indicate that the antiviral drugs interfere with the interaction of the virus with the membrane. It was shown that virus infection changes the membrane potential of carp skin cells, and the effect of antiviral drugs on it was investigated. The influence of ultraviolet radiation on the absorption and photoluminescence spectra of RNA-containing viruses was investigated. Changes in the spectra of absorption, fluorescence at room temperature, and fluorescence and phosphorescence at the temperature of liquid nitrogen were registered as a result of the irradiation of viruses in an aqueous medium at the wavelength of absorption of nucleic acids and proteins of viruses.  Product Description popup.authors Artemenko Oleksandr Yu.
