The aim of the research is to create an innovative methodology for bioindication of pesticide impact on ecosystems for indirect detection of the fact of application or accidental release of pesticides into the environment during production, transportation, disasters and illegal disposal, even in case of their rapid degradation in the environment. Research methods: ecological, biochemical, molecular; we analysed ecological indicators of populations and toxic effects in animals under pesticide load, identified valid cytological, biochemical and neuromolecular biomarkers to assess the toxic effects of pesticides. For the first time, certain molecular disorders have been established as a mechanism of action of insecticides. The condition of animals in natural and laboratory conditions was determined by environmental indicators and molecular markers. The obtained results allow us to develop a biomonitoring methodology to assess the effects of modern pesticides on animal populations and ecosystems where pesticides are introduced into the environment. The developed methodological approaches can be recommended to specialists and institutions related to environmental control for rapid response to pesticide contamination.
