The purpose of the work is to establish the fundamental regularities of the kinetics and mechanisms of the processes occurring during electrochemical anodic and cathodic modification of the surface of metals and alloys in DES and to establish the influence of electrochemical processing on electrocatalytic properties. Research methods – linear and cyclic voltammetry, chronoamperometry, gravimetry, titrimetry, scanning electron microscopy, X-ray spectral electron probe microanalysis, measurement of the surface roughness coefficient. The fundamental regularities of the kinetics of processes during electrochemical anodic and cathodic modification of the surface of metals and alloys using electrolytes based on low-temperature eutectic solvents have been established. The regularities of electrocatalytic processes with the participation of synthesized electrocatalysts are characterized.
