 On the basis of clinical, questionnaire, instrumental, functional, laboratory, microbiological and statistical methods of research, new possibilities of clinical examination and treatment of patients with COPD and arterial hypertension, a pathogenetically substantiated possibility of controlling the course of diseases, improved methods of diagnosis and medical rehabilitation have been revealed. The presence and significance of common pathogenetic features of the development of diseases are shown, predictors of the development of endothelial dysfunction of vessels and the formation of cardiovascular complications in patients with COPD are investigated.
