Recommendations on improving the investment and innovation activity of enterprises and the innovation policy of the state are provided. The global trends of international capital movement were analyzed, the methods of assessing the investment attractiveness of countries were investigated. The main geo-economic factors of the movement of foreign direct investments for Ukraine have been established. The stock market as an economic and institutional phenomenon and the state of the stock market in Ukraine through the prism of world realities are studied. The prerequisites for a decrease in the rate of economic growth, an increase in inflation, a decrease in investment and lending have been created at the current stage. This is the beginning of a global redistribution of capital investment flows in the world economy. Ukraine should take advantage of the opportunity for a possible increase in attracting investment funds to its national economy and the implementation of innovative projects. It must create an appropriate attractive investment environment for this. Measures to improve socio-economic development in the economy have been developed.
