The state budget topic "Society of southern Ukraine in the totalitarian past and communicative possibilities of the present: historical and philological aspect" (State registration number: 0121U110805) studied during 2021-2023 is a completed scientific work. The idea itself is an interesting, relevant, long-term and, from a scientific point of view, promising topic in the future, which is dedicated to the phenomenon of the existence of multidimensional components both in Ukrainian society in general and in the southern Ukrainian (Black Sea) region during the extremely complex historical time - the 20th century. The topicality of this topic is outlined, in particular, by the need to understand the geopolitical processes of today, in the epicenter of which Ukraine is, heroically fighting for freedom and democratic choice against the Russian aggressor, the successor of the Soviet totalitarian regime. Historical stories of fellow historians and educational and methodological developments of philologists aimed at studying interactive and informational and communicative innovations in the teaching of linguistic disciplines are presented by members of the author's team in this final report. The scope of the study includes, in particular, the theoretical foundations of state building, the positions of the leading activists of the Ukrainian Revolution (1917-1921) in terms of state formation as the main basis for the formation of an independent Ukraine, the national idea and the solution of socio-economic issues by the Ukrainian authorities at the beginning of the revolution.
