The object of the research is the degassing of coal massif under the conditions of PJSC «Management of the mine «POKROVSKE». The purpose of the work is to develop the "Project of complex degassing of the mining area 1 of the southern bench of block 9 of layer d4 of PJSC «Management of the mine «POKROVSKE». Research methods - generalization and analysis of results, methods of mathematics. statistics, calculations according to standard methods. As a result of the work, the mining-geological and mining-technical conditions of working out 1 southern bench of block 9 of PJSC «Management of the mine «POKROVSKE» were analyzed. The calculation of the expected release of methane within the excavation area, the air consumption for ventilation of the excavation area, the parameters and mode of degassing of the roof and the created space was performed. Measures have been developed to control the degassing system of the excavation site 1 of the southern bench of block 9 during fires in the mining workings. The "Project of complex degassing of the extraction site 1 of the southern bench of the block 9 layer d4 of PJSC «Management of the mine «POKROVSKE» has been developed. The results of the implementation of the developments - the application of the developed recommendations made it possible to ensure gas safety during mining operations, which is of great socio-economic and ecological importance.
