Research methods – analysis of legislative, normative documents of preschool, primary and higher education, scientific sources, manuals and textbooks, retrospective analysis; modeling (for the development of models of technologies and processes of formation of key competencies and end-to-end skills); a pedagogical experiment to test the effectiveness of developed technologies, models, methods of forming key competencies (sustainable development competencies) and end-to-end skills (soft-skills) of applicants and future specialists; mathematical statistics - for statistical processing and qualitative analysis of the obtained experimental data using K. Pearson's consistency criterion χ2, to determine the statistical significance of the obtained results and check the effectiveness of the models; methods of comparative and systematic analysis to compare views on the investigated problem; the author's method of conducting a gender examination of the lesson; observation method; method of expert evaluations; analysis of educational and professional training programs for students of higher education in pedagogical specialties, generalization of pedagogical experience; a bank of diagnostic methods for the study of current problems of the professional formation of a competitive specialist.
