To realize the set goal, the following tasks were performed: I. substantiation of the dependence of the morphotype, growth parameters, dynamics of the content of photosynthetic pigments and the course of the primary processes of photosynthesis of plants in vitro from the light conditions of cultivation and, on this basis, the selection of marker criteria for assessing the habit, morpho-physiological state of plants in vitro; assessment of the possibility of using fluorescent lamps with different technical characteristics for correcting the light conditions of in vitro plant cultivation; II. research of physiological and biochemical changes in aquatic plants under conditions of increased content of nitrogen, phosphorus and metals and substantiation of prospects for their use in bioremediation measures; III. assessment of the stability of immune and stress reactivity in native and invasive bivalve mollusk populations to clarify the impact of adaptation in the natural biotope; IV. establishment of general regularities, regional features of soil changes in modern conditions of intensive agriculture; determination of ways of effective use of soils; assessment of the effectiveness of the application of economic and mathematical modeling tools for monitoring and improving the ecological situation of water resources by creating models for assessing the level of their comprehensive use and protection; V. establishment of physiological, biochemical and molecular features of the response of aquatic organisms (for example, carp fish) in vitro and in vivo to the influence of ecologically relevant concentrations of pesticides and pharmaceuticals.
