An information database on animals in breeding and controlled herds of subjects of breeding business in animal husbandry (609,304 cows) and a database of breeding bulls-breeders of dairy and dairy-meat breeds of breeding enterprises of Ukraine (57783 bulls) have been created. The information database "State Register of Breeding Subjects in Livestock Breeding" for 2020-2022 has been created. An analysis of the presence of breeding stock of cattle, breed composition, productivity and reproduction in subjects of breeding business in animal husbandry was carried out. Catalogs of dairy and dairy-meat bulls have been created for reproduction of the breeding stock in 2021-2024. An analysis of breed composition, assessment of breeding value and genetic markers of breeder bulls was carried out. The database of agricultural animal breeds of Ukraine in the European Agricultural Animal Biodiversity Information System (EFABIS) has been updated. According to international criteria, information on breeds of cattle, pigs, horses, sheep and poultry has been entered. An analysis of world experience in assessing the genetic value of bulls based on a set of traits was carried out. A methodology for determining the economic weights of traits when assessing the breeding value of animals in dairy cattle breeding has been developed. The information database "State register of subjects of breeding business in animal husbandry" has been updated.
