The object of the work is the use of new environmentally friendly alternative fuels in aircraft and aviation ground equipment. During the research, updated methods of reformulation and compounding of fuel composition for gas turbine engines, improved analytical methods for calculating the emission characteristics of new alternative fuels, new and improved catalytic methods of synthesis of biocomponents, methods of chromatographic analysis, standard methods of researching physico-chemical, operational and environmental properties of fuels were applied. As a result of the work, a method of alcoholic transesterification of lignocellulosic raw materials was developed, a method of transesterification of oily raw materials was improved, by which new biocomponents of alternative aviation fuels were synthesized. New experimental samples of alternative fuels for aircraft and aviation ground equipment, obtained by compounding with biocomponents based on oil and lignocellulosic raw materials, were created. A Roadmap for the introduction and use of alternative fuels in the air transport complex has been developed. The practical principles of using alternative gas fuels based on propane-butane mixtures, biogas and other low-calorie gas fuels for aviation ground equipment have been developed. The results of the research are new and will contribute to the development of the domestic sector of aviation fuel supply, petrochemical and chemical-technological industries and the air transport complex as a whole in the context of modern global trends of sustainable development.
