The object of the study: the process of developing the Strategy for the Economic and Social Development of the Territorial Community. The purpose of the work: scientific and methodological substantiation of the development of the Territorial Community Development Strategy based on the effective use of the resource potential of the territory. The goals of the analytical and generalization stage: systematic research: features of the reform of the administrative and territorial system of Ukraine; the role of territorial communities in ensuring local socio-economic development; peculiarities of planning social and economic processes in united territorial communities for the medium and long term; peculiarities of formation and use of budgets of united territorial communities; asset management mechanism in united territorial communities; processes of attracting investments to the socio-economic sphere of united territorial communities. The practical significance of the results of the scientific research lies in the study of the activities of local self-government bodies in terms of ensuring the proper level of socio-economic development of territories. The results obtained within the analytical and generalization stage are printed and accepted for publication in the form of articles and theses.
