During the research, the following issues were resolved: – an analysis of the current state of affairs on the problem of assessment and modification of cyber security systems in the energy sector was carried out; – developed the theory of building adaptive means of protection based on the formation of criteria for managing protection mechanisms under the influence of external and internal factors that require a change in the balance between reliability, security, speed and economy; – researched and developed multi-level models of protection of access to information systems; – a software system was created to check the completeness and consistency of the functional protection profile; – the method of automated creation of digital information protection devices based on reconfigurable computers was developed; – the method of using the grid infrastructure and cloud service for the organization of centralized programming of reconfigurable accelerators for use in information security tools was created; – a typical security model and its application methodology for the analysis and protection of Ukraine's gas transmission system facilities were developed and researched.
