The research focuses on the immunophenotyping of cells in malignant tumors and tumor-infiltrating immune cells, elucidating the pathogenetic features of the interaction between checkpoint inhibitors and control points, and investigating the effectiveness of using immune checkpoint inhibitors in modifying the course of malignant neoplasms. The objective of the study is to establish the correlation between the molecular-genetic characteristics of tumors and their progression, and to develop a methodology for inhibiting tumor growth using antibodies to carcinoembryonic antigen molecules and cyclooxygenase blockers. To achieve the set goal, the following tasks were defined: to conduct immunohistochemical research of tumor tissue regarding the expression of CEACAM -1, -5, -6, -7, -20 and COX-1, -2; to identify the immunoprofile characteristics of neoplastic tissue in "cold" and "hot" tumors; to determine the impact of CEACAM-1, -5, -6, -7, -20 and COX-1, -2 expression on tumor progression; to investigate the qualitative characteristics (mass, structural modifications) of proteins in intact and neoplastic cells; to determine the presence of gene polymorphisms encoding CEACAMs and COX. Research methods include histological and immunofluorescent tissue studies; protein and DNA/RNA extraction from cells and tissues; enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay; polymerase chain reaction; and mathematical methods.
