The purpose of the work is to carry out calculations and forecast the danger of sudden breakthroughs of methane from the bottom of mining workings of PJSC «Management of the mine «POKROVSKE». Research methods - generalization and analysis of results, methods of mathematics. statistics, calculations according to standard methods. As a result of the work, the mining and geological characteristics of the mining operations and the development of coal seams of PJSC «Management of the mine «POKROVSKE» were analyzed. Calculations were made according to a specially developed program in accordance with the "Instructions on forecasting and prevention of sudden bursts of methane from the bottom of mine workings". Conclusions have been developed based on the forecast of the danger of sudden breakthroughs of methane from the bottom of the mining workings of PJSC «Management of the mine «POKROVSKE».
