This technique was based on the analysis of the dispersion properties of the propagation velocities of shear rotation waves in structurally heterogeneous media and the use of the Cobb-Douglas model to construct the corresponding models. To obtain calculated ratios, the Kosser continuum model was used, taking into account the possibility of independence of micro- and macrorotations of microparticles of the medium. This made it possible to obtain a two-parameter model that takes into account the influence of physical and microstructural characteristics of foam and porous materials. The analysis of the numerical results obtained using the developed approaches made it possible to calculate the operating ranges for the studied materials, in which there is no significant change in the dispersion properties of rotation-shear waves. The project executors tested the developed approach for various polyurethane foams with and without modification of their composition. For this, a series of groups of polyurethane foam samples with different proportions of foaming agent and polyurethane were obtained. Groups of samples that were modified by adding siloxane rubber additives were also studied. For all experimental groups of samples, experimental tests were carried out and their comparison with the results obtained based on simulation analysis was carried out.
