The subject of research is the newest bioecological methods of melioration of artificial reservoirs and hydrotechnical structures. The purpose of the work is to increase the effectiveness of biological and ecological methods of reclamation of artificial water bodies for the safe and uninterrupted operation of strategic objects. Research methods: hydrochemical, chemical-analytical, hydrobiological, ichthyological, physiological, statistical. The report presents the system of hydrobiological monitoring of the Zaporizhzhya (Dnipro) reservoir and the Saksagan and Samara rivers as background reservoirs, which are potential sources of biological obstacles, containing information about monitoring stations; a list of indicators for biological monitoring and periodicity of control is provided. Updated and improved chemical-analytical methods for determining microconcentrations of substances were used for their detection in the water of background reservoirs. Practical recommendations for the implementation of biomelioration measures in background water bodies, which are aimed at normalizing hydrobiocenoses and minimizing the manifestations of bioobstacles, are given.
