The purpose of the work is the development of measures to protect buildings and structures from the penetration of mine gases into the earth's surface of the liquidated mine "Stepova" of the SU "MINE MANAGEMENT PERSHOTRAVENSKE" PJSC "DFEK PAVLOGRADVUHILLYA". As a result of the work, the mining-geological and mining-technical characteristics of the Stepova mine and the mining outlet of the mine were analyzed. An assessment of the degree of danger of the earth's surface of the mountain outlet of the liquidated mine due to the release of mine gas and a forecast of the intensity and duration of the release of gas through the gas outlet pipes was carried out. Measures have been developed to prevent the unorganized release of mine gas onto the earth's surface. The "Project for the protection of buildings against the penetration of methane at the mining outlet of the liquidated "Stepova" mine of the SU "MINE MANAGEMENT PERSHOTRAVENSKE" PJSC "DFEK PAVLOGRADVUHILLYA" was developed.
