The influence of stocks and stages of decomposition of dead wood in primeval beech ecosystems on the formation of the structural organization of communities of saproxylobiont species was clarified. An annotated list of saproxylobiont species of the sylvan beech forests was created, which supplemented the existing database of existing species in Transcarpathia and the Ukrainian Carpathians. A comprehensive study of the fauna of freshwater gastropod molluscs of the Tisza River basin within Ukraine was carried out, taking into account the latest taxonomic data. The modern species composition of aquatic Gastropoda of this region was established, 8 species new to the fauna of Transcarpathia were discovered. The peculiarities of the distribution of freshwater gastropods in the study area, in particular their altitudinal distribution, have been established. The conducted studies showed that phenolic compounds are able to cause an effect on bacterial cells by destroying the cell wall. These compounds showed more pronounced activity against gram-positive microorganisms, and some of them showed good synergy with antibiotics. The properties of cork condensate make it a potential candidate for use in both the textile and pharmaceutical industries, making it very attractive for the creation of functional textile materials that may have medical applications.  Product Description popup.authors Valeriia I.
