The aim of the research is the development of new mathematical models, statement of direct and inverse problems, obtaining their closed-form solutions, the development of numerical methods and algorithms, and the creation of software and algorithmic tools for modeling the dynamics of distributed processes in ecology. Research methods are mathematical modeling, computational methods, and simulation. The results consists of a series of novel mathematical models, boundary value problems and their closed-form solutions, numerical and numerical-analytical methods for modeling the fractional-differential dynamics of the processes of soluble substances transport and filtrational consolidation in saturated soils. Also, tools have been creates for modeling anomalous dynamics of geofiltration and filtrational consolidation processes in fractal-structured massifs; the dynamics of a heterogeneous two-phase soil medium under non-isothermal conditions in the case of axial symmetry; the processes of diffusion and heat conduction in a multidimensional approximation on the base of finite-difference splitting schemes. Parallel algorithms have been developed for the simulation of mass and moisture transport processes in fractal-structured environments and the problems of their parameters identification.
