The object of study was Ukrainian literature of the 20th – early 21st centuries. The purpose of the research topic was a comprehensive study of the patterns of development of significant phenomena in the historical and literary process of the 20th-21st centuries: key figures, artistic texts, stylistic directions and trends, genres, leading themes, problems. The research was carried out on the basis of modern literary methodologies: hermeneutic, cultural and comparative historical, receptive and textual analytical methods. The results of the study are reflected: in 7 individual monographs, 3 collections of scientific papers, 5 popular science publications, 2 bibliographic indexes, 3 publications of literary heritage, as well as in articles published in professional scientific publications - both Ukrainian (75) and foreign (17), collections of scientific papers (25), materials and abstracts of conferences (46), encyclopedic articles (52), as well as articles indexed in the international databases Scopus and Web of Science (5), in popular science publications in the media information (total 202). In addition, 183 reports were announced on the planned topic at scientific conferences, seminars, and round tables, of which 11 were at foreign meetings and 61 at international ones.
